Fall Fun

Aubrey can cross another first off of her list, apple picking!  We went up to Stuarts Farms in Granite Springs, NY for the afternoon.  We had a great time taking in the foliage, eating apples straight from the tree and dancing in the pumpkin patch.  When we got home, we made applesauce -yum!

Aubrey's Room

Aubrey has been a very patient little girl, waiting for her indecisive Mom to paint her room.  Pink, purple, green, blue? Orange? Polka dots?  Stars? The possibilities were endless and overwhelming, but we finally decided -Mermaid green, with a passing cloud here and there.  Aubrey loves the water, and all its treasures it somehow the color just made sense. And it looks dynamite.  To celebrate, we bought a table and chairs and rug to complete the look.  Aubrey seems to love her space, and we often find her sitting in front of her toy shelves making music.

Toddler Park

Aubrey spent her afternoon at the toddler park over in Park Slope -she loved that everything was  her size, from the slides to the kids!

Aubrey is a growing girl -here she is at 1 month, 5 months and 10 months!  Time is flying!!

Last Licks

We got to spend the last week of summer in our favorite summer place- Cape Cod.  We crammed in as many summer activities as possible in our week -sand castles, ice cream cones, dips in the pool and mini golf.  We enjoyed swinging on the beach at night, feeling the crisp fall air creep in.  We also had our first campfire together.  We were only here 8 weeks before, yet Aubrey seems to have aged so much more than that.  This visit she was cruising around, chatting away, grabbing french fries from our fish and chip plates.  We just love having her here with us.

I can't wait til I can jump on the trampolines!
