Aubrey loves the bath!

New Years Eve

We had a very low key New Years Eve on Long Island with the family. It was exactly what we needed as we ended 2011 and thought about all the exciting times we are about to have with our Aubrey in 2012.

First visit to Nana and Papa's

We always spend the days after Christmas at Nana and Papa's. It was extra special this year because it meant our Massachusetts family could meet an itty bitty Aubrey. Big brother Grahm proudly introduced her to Uncle Matt, and Grandpa and Grandma Bourque, Grandpa Hutton and Mary, Karen, Emily and Andrew. We can't wait to get back!

First Christmas

Aubrey was only 3 weeks old for her 1st Christmas, even so Santa left her presents under the tree. What was most special about Aubrey's first Christmas was getting to meet and be with her extended family. Grandma, Aunt Pat, Uncle Keith and Aunt Amanda got to spend Christmas eve with her, while on Christmas day she got to meet the rest of the Kelly clan. We were especially excited for her to meet her cousin Bryanna who is only 8 weeks older. The two looked like dolls all dressed in their Christmas best. We know they will have lots of fun together in the future, just like their moms did.

Meeting Nana and Papa

Nana and Papa came to meet their newest grandbaby, and Aubrey slept through the whole visit! There will be many more special times ahead with Nana and Papa, just ask Grahm.

3 of the 4

We went to our buildings holiday party where a neighbor got these shots of us.

Fanastic Four

Aubrey -your name was very debated on, especially by your big brother. He had many names picked out for you -wonder woman, batgirl, hawk man, aqua man... and to the day we brought you home to meet him, he was calling you by each of them. We finally decided that Wonder Woman could be his special name for you. When you and Grahm were finally face to face, it couldn't have been sweeter meeting. Aubrey was sleeping and snuggled in her baby seat, and Grahm got to check out all of her itty bitty babyness. He even awwed, which is not very Grahm. He asked to hold you right away, and was very proud and protective of you.... and I think (and hope) it will be like that forever.

Hanging at the hospital

Some extra special people came to see Aubrey while we were in the hospital. Aunt Amanda, Aunt Pat and Grandma came to see if the pictures did her justice -I think all would agree that Aubrey is just as cute (maybe even cuter!) in person.

While we were in the hospital, we played lots of dress up -we finally decided on this sleeper from Aunt Mary to wear home, along with this pink sweater and hat set made by Grandma's friend Flo.
